MatterUnorganized.com is owned and operated by ProPel Pictures, LLC.
Our goal is to add value to you our reader, in whatever creative endeavor you are pursuing. We want to use this blog to keep our minds fresh, and in turn share with you what we are learning.
In the process we will talk about gear, software, and tools we use. Our primary focus is to become a feature filmmaking team that develops, produces, and distributes rich, faith-based content through our company ProPel Pictures.
What we do and say here on our blog is of course to help us with ProPel’s mission, but our primary intention with this blog is to use it as a place to share what we are learning in the process of making films and finding sustainable monetary models in our new digital distribution world.
As our valued reader, we want you to understand that we will never recommend a product or service that we don’t: A) use ourselves, and/or B) genuinely believe is good. Now we know a lot of people say that, but here’s the thing — many bloggers and internet marketers are primarily out to make money. We are bloggers second and a filmmakers first (heck we’ve been making films since we were 11!).
Below you will find a more detailed breakdown of the “affiliate connections” of MatterUnorganized— this goes both for this web site and the newsletter.
- Many links on this site are affiliate links. We will use an affiliate link if one is available — for example, any Amazon or B&H Photo link is an affiliate link (“affiliate link” means we get a small percentage of any sale that results) This aids us in supporting the website. That said, we will also recommend stuff that doesn’t have an affiliate program — if we think something is helpful, we’ll of course write about it.
- We are not product GUSHERS. We will not gush about a product or service merely because someone gave us a free sample to review. If it is a piece of video production gear, most likely it’s going back to the vendor.
